Conformance Status
We are actively working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This website partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA, meaning some content does not yet fully meet the standard. We are conducting an ongoing audit and remediating identified issues.
What We Are Doing
We take web accessibility seriously. Our current and ongoing efforts include:
- Conducting a full WCAG 2.1 AA audit of all pages (completed May 2026)
- Remediating identified barriers in order of severity and user impact
- Ensuring all interactive elements are keyboard-accessible and have visible focus indicators
- Providing sufficient color contrast for all text and UI components
- Adding ARIA labels and roles to interactive elements, forms, and navigation
- Testing with screen reader software (NVDA, VoiceOver)
- Re-auditing the site after each significant update
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations we are actively remediating include:
- Some interactive body map elements may have limited screen reader support on older browsers
- Some hero background images may not have full descriptive text for screen readers
- Some pages may have minor heading hierarchy inconsistencies
